Providing specialized therapeutic environments for children who have experienced complex developmental trauma.
Therapeutic foster carers receive dedicated clinical psychology support, 24/7 crisis lines, and enhanced fees (£650–£1,000/week per child).
Therapeutic fostering is a specialized approach for children who have experienced severe neglect, abuse, or disruption. Rather than traditional parenting, carers use trauma-informed therapeutic models (such as PACE — Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to help children repair early relational trauma.
- Intensive clinical supervision from qualified child psychologists. - High-frequency support groups and ongoing therapeutic training. - Enhanced weekly fees recognizing the complex behavioral needs. - Built-in respite allocation to protect carer wellbeing.
