Statutory & Safeguarding
LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer)
If your assessment is currently suspended or you need to discuss a safeguarding concern regarding children or staff:
- • Locate your Local Authority Designated Officer via your local Council directory.
- • Escalations must be raised to the specific borough or district council where the child is placed.
MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)
For immediate child protection referrals, contact the MASH team at the local authority immediately. If a child is in imminent danger, always dial 999.
Carer & Agency Support
Supervising Social Worker (SSW)
If you are an approved carer, please contact your supervising fostering agency's out-of-hours support line directly. Social work team details are available in your portal profile documents.
